The Management Team has a diverse range of experience, both in and outside the organisation. We know each individual and their families and work comfortably with a “hands on” approach to all aspects of support as and when required.

 

Melita Benn

Operations Manager

Melita commenced with Community Connection in 1995. Melita is responsible for all aspects of Community Connection’s daily operations and it’s financial affairs.   Melita is also responsible for coordination of the services for individuals and families who self-manage.

Candy Ezard

Strategic Manager

Candy has a long history with Community Connection having spent a number of years as the Chairperson of the Management Committee.   Candy has a strong understanding of Community Connection and was pivotal in many decisions  made before Community Connection transitioned to the NDIS in her former role as Principal Program Officer at Disability Services.  Candy  brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to her role as Strategic Manager.

Peggy Campbell

HR Coordinator, WH&S Representative and Lifestyle Coordinator

Peggy commenced with Community Connection in 2001. Peggy’s primary role covers all aspects of recruitment, training, and Workplace Health & Safety for Lifestyle Assistants, as well as coordinating for a small number of individuals and families. Peggy is passionate about finding the perfect match between the person receiving support and their chosen Lifestyle Assistant.

Jo-Ann Rehbein

Lifestyle Coordinator

Jo-Ann commenced with Community Connection in 2003.Jo-Ann works closely with Individuals and families to establish an in-depth, personalised plan to assist the individual and their team to develop a meaningful and inclusive life in the community.

Louise Dulvarie

Lifestyle Coordinator

Louise (Lu) started as a Lifestyle Assistant with Community Connection in 2012 and took up the post of Lifestyle Coordinator in 2016. Lu works closely with Individuals and families to establish an in-depth, personalised plan to assist the individual and their team to develop a meaningful and inclusive life in the community.

Lifestyle Coordinator

Tracey commenced with Community Connection in 2017. Tracey works closely with individuals and families to establish an in-depth, personalised plan to assist the individual and their team to develop a meaningful and inclusive life in the community.

Petrice Alberich

Support Coordinator

Petrice started as a Lifestyle Assistant with Community Connection in 2014 and took up the post of Support Coordinator in 2016. Petrice’s role is to provide assistance to strengthen Individuals/Families abilities to connect to and coordinate informal, mainstream and funded supports in a complex service delivery environment.

Margaret started with Community Connection in 2017 as a Support Coordinator. Margaret’s role is to provide assistance to strengthen Individuals/Families abilities to connect to and coordinate informal, mainstream and funded supports in a complex service delivery environment.

Rhonda Storen

Administration Officer

Rhonda commenced with Community Connection in 2015 and works in all areas of administration including reception and processing pays every fortnight for over 100 staff members. Rhonda will usually be one of the first people you speak with when you contact our office.

Sheryl Ramsay

Administration Assistant

Sheryl commenced with Community Connection in early 2018 bringing with her extensive experience in administration.  Sheryl will be one of the first friendly faces you will meet when you visit the Community Connection office.  In her spare time Sheryl likes to keep fit through her local bootcamp group and walking up Castle Hill.

Geraldine Groves

Administration Assistant

Geraldine previously worked for Community Connection, she re-commenced  in 2016 and works mainly in reception, on the days that Rhonda is processing payroll and engages in all areas of administration.

 

Our Lifestyle Coordinators work with a holistic approach and are skilled in assisting with all aspects of an individual’s life, including health plans, behavioural strategies and the implementation of behavioural plans. Lifestyle coordinators support both the individual, their family and the larger team to achieve their goals.
