The Office Team has a diverse range of experience, both in and outside the organisation. We know each Individual and their families and work comfortably with a “hands on” approach to all aspects of support as and when required.
Jason Carroll
Chief Executive Officer
A Townsville local, Jason has been employed in the disability industry for over seven (7) years as a Registered Behavioural Practitioner. He has experience working with complex and challenging behaviours, with a special interest in psycho-social disorders. Jason holds qualifications in Behavioural Analysis, Psychology/Counselling, Business/Finance and Community Services. Jason is a father of three beautiful girls, one little man and a very special little granddaughter. In his spare time Jason loves coaching junior basketball and sitting on the board of a local club.
Melita Benn
Manager Finances and Shared Services (Senior Manager)
Melita commenced with Community Connection in 1995. Melita is responsible for all aspects of Community Connection’s daily operations and it’s financial affairs.
Carmel Clifford
Human Resources Manager (Senior Manager)
Carmel joined the Community Connection team in 2021. Carmel leads the Human Resources team across all of it’s functions with a strategic and transformational lens, ensuring a person-centred approach in all HR activities.
Briannon Modra
Human Resource & WHS Officer
Briannon joined Community Connection in 2025 as our dedicated HR & WHS Officer. She recently transitioned from disability employment services, where she helped people find and sustain meaningful work. Now, she is eager to make a positive and lasting impact at Community Connection.
Jo-Ann Rehbein
Lifestyle Coordinator
Jo-Ann commenced with Community Connection in 2003. Jo-Ann works closely with Individuals and families to establish an in-depth, personalised plan to assist the Individual and their team to develop a meaningful and inclusive life in the community.
Leigh-Ann Rozis
Lifestyle Coordinator
Leigh-Ann joined Community Connection in 2024, she has lived in Townsville since 2010 and has extensive knowledge of the NDIS from working as a Supports Coordinator. Leigh-Ann is extremely passionate in seeing the Individuals she works with reach their desired outcomes.
In her spare time she enjoys reading, cooking and spending time with her family and friends.
Breann Patmore
Lifestyle Coordinator
Bree is a qualified counselling therapist and behaviour support practitioner. She has experience in the international student migration and family and domestic violence sectors, and has been working in disability since 2021. Bree and her daughter love doing Parkrun each Saturday morning and relaxing at home watching reruns of Friends on TV
Brooke McLeod
Lifestyle Coordinator
Brooke began her journey with Community Connection in 2023 as a Lifestyle Assistant and has transitioned into the role of Lifestyle Coordinator in 2025. Born in NSW, Brooke considers herself to be a Queenslander and is a part of the Women’s Premier Soccer League in Townsville. She coaches U8’s boys and U12/13 girls’ team, and enjoys movie nights with her family.
Margaret Shears
Quality Officer
Margaret has over 20 years of experience in the disability sector, including time with Community Connection while working at Disability Services. She joined Community Connection as a Supports Coordinator in 2017 before transitioning to compliance in 2023, where she oversees compliance materials, reporting, and internal auditing. In 2024, she was appointed Liaison Officer to the Board, acting as the key link between the Board, families, Individuals, and Community Connection.
Jade Mark
Support Coordinator
Jade started with Community Connection in 2023 as a Support Coordinator. Her role is to provide assistance to strengthen Individuals/families. Jade also facilitates connection and coordinates informal, mainstream and funded supports in a complex service delivery environment. In her free time, Jade enjoys supporting her children’s sporting activities and spending time with her family.
Rhonda Storen
Payroll Officer
Rhonda commenced with Community Connection in 2015. She works in a part-time role processing the fortnightly payroll.
Jennifer Storen
Receptionist
Jenny joined the Community Connection team in March 2023 as our Receptionist. She will usually be the one to greet you with a smile as you walk in the door. Jenny has been a Townsville local for 25 years, with a background in Construction Administration and Client Liaison. She recently decided to move into a community-focused role and hasn’t looked back. Jenny enjoys keeping fit, hiking and walking her dog. She also enjoys fishing with her partner in the cooler months, catching live music events when she can, scrapbooking and reading.

Casual Receptionist
Sheryl commenced with Community Connection in early 2018 bringing with her extensive experience in administration. Sheryl will be one of the first friendly faces you will meet when you visit the Community Connection office.

Geraldine has a long association with Community Connection. She can be found on reception every Monday.
