The Office Team has a diverse range of experience, both in and outside the organisation. We know each individual and their families and work comfortably with a “hands on” approach to all aspects of support as and when required.
Lynne has been a part of Community Connection for over 25 years as both a Board Member and the parent of an individual that receives support.
Melita commenced with Community Connection in 1995. Melita is responsible for all aspects of Community Connection’s daily operations and it’s financial affairs.
Human Resource Manager
Carmel joined the Community Connection team in 2021. Carmel leads the Human Resources Team across all of its’ functions with a strategic and transformational lens; ensuring a person-centred approach in all HR activities.
Human Resource Coordinator
Peggy commenced with Community Connection in 2001. Peggy’s primary role covers all aspects of recruitment, training, and Workplace Health & Safety for the organisation. Peggy is passionate about finding the best matched Lifestyle Assistant for the person requiring support so that they can work collaboratively towards their NDIS Goals and live their best life.
Jo-Ann commenced with Community Connection in 2003. Jo-Ann works closely with Individuals and families to establish an in-depth, personalised plan to assist the individual and their team to develop a meaningful and inclusive life in the community.
Theresa Weatherly joined Community Connection in November 2018,
she brings with her years of experience leading teams towards great outcomes for people with a disability.
She works closely with individuals and families to work towards the goals.
Margaret joined Community Connection in 2019 and brings with her over 30 years of knowledge and experience working in both the government and non-government disability sector.
She is passionate about quality service delivery and improving outcomes for people living with disability.
Madelyn commenced with Community Connection in 2021, initially as the Roster Coordinator. Madelyn is a valuable member of the Office Team and has recently moved to a Lifestyle Coordinator role.
Margaret started with Community Connection in 2017 as a Support Coordinator. Margaret’s role is to provide assistance to strengthen Individuals/Families abilities to connect to and coordinate informal, mainstream and funded supports in a complex service delivery environment.
Rhonda commenced with Community Connection in 2015. Her role includes financial administration, payroll and all aspects of plan management.
Sheryl commenced with Community Connection in early 2018 bringing with her extensive experience in administration. Sheryl will be one of the first friendly faces you will meet when you visit the Community Connection office.
Geraldine has a long association with Community Connection. She can be found on reception every second Monday and when Sheryl is on leave.
